Collaborative Care
For patients who already have an established therapist
Some patients already have a trusted therapist they work with closely. In appropriate cases, Mindful Pathways can provide the psychiatric evaluation, medical oversight, supervised in-home IM ketamine sessions, written aftercare, and brief clinical summaries — while deeper preparation and integration remain with the existing therapist.
This arrangement can lower total cost without reducing medical screening or safety. Collaborative care still requires a full psychiatric evaluation and is not guaranteed for all patients.
What Mindful Pathways provides
- Psychiatric evaluation and KAP candidacy determination
- Medical oversight and medication review
- Supervised in-home IM ketamine sessions (Tel Aviv area)
- Written aftercare instructions after each session
- Brief concise clinical summaries for the outside therapist (with patient consent)
- Brief medical follow-up as clinically indicated
What the outside therapist handles
- Deeper psychological preparation before sessions
- Integration therapy following sessions
- Ongoing therapeutic relationship and continuity
- Long-term meaning-making and behavior change
For Referring Therapists
Therapists may refer appropriate patients for psychiatric evaluation and medically supervised IM ketamine sessions while continuing to provide the primary therapeutic relationship. With patient consent, Mindful Pathways can provide concise summaries and coordination around preparation, dosing-session themes, and integration priorities.
The process — same structured pathway
How the process works
Full candidacy is determined through a medical evaluation. The evaluation does not guarantee ketamine treatment.

After the First Session or Treatment Series
Continuity planning and maintenance decisions are clinically driven, not automatic
After an initial IM ketamine session or treatment series, next steps are based on clinical response, safety, patient goals, integration needs, and the broader treatment plan. Further ketamine sessions are not automatic and are not guaranteed. Follow-up may include integration, psychiatric review, coordination with an outside therapist, continued outcome tracking, or referral to other care when appropriate.
What may happen next
Preparation or integration sessions to process the experience and apply insights
Medical check-in to review response, side effects, and safety
Review of symptom measures (PHQ-9, GAD-7, PCL-5) and functioning
Coordination with an outside therapist or clinician when applicable
Planning whether another session is clinically appropriate
Referral to another level or type of care when appropriate
Booster and maintenance decisions
Some patients may later ask about booster or maintenance sessions. These decisions are individualized and depend on prior response, durability of benefit, safety, current symptoms, support systems, and whether other treatment changes are more appropriate. Booster or maintenance treatment is not a standing entitlement and requires ongoing clinical judgment.
