Mindful Pathways, led by Dr. Andrew (Dror) Rosenbach, MD — board-certified psychiatrist — offers limited-scope psychiatric consultation and second opinion services in Tel Aviv. This is a distinct service from Tel Aviv KAP, the practice’s ketamine-assisted psychotherapy service, with its own process, scope, and limitations.
What This Consultation Is
This is a focused, time-limited psychiatric consultation that addresses a specific clinical question you or your referring clinician have identified. It is not an ongoing treatment relationship. The consultation produces a written psychiatric opinion based on the information available at the time.
Who It Is For
This service may be appropriate for adults (18+) who are physically located in Israel at the time of consultation and who have a defined psychiatric question they want addressed by a psychiatrist.
Types of Defined Questions
Diagnostic or evaluation clarification — a second perspective on an existing diagnosis or diagnostic uncertainty
Treatment-strategy second opinion — a review of the current treatment approach and alternative considerations
Medication-focused second opinion — a focused review of medication-related questions (ordinarily requires an identifiable treating or prescribing clinician)
Another defined psychiatric question — a specific question that can be addressed within a single consultation scope
Who May Not Be Appropriate
This service is not appropriate for everyone. The following situations are outside the scope of this initial model:
Individuals under 18 years of age
Individuals not physically located in Israel at the time of consultation
Those seeking ongoing psychiatric management or longitudinal care
Those needing emergency or urgent psychiatric assessment
Those seeking prescribing or medication refills as the primary goal
Forensic, legal, disability, capacity, employment, school, or insurance evaluations
Records
Records are requested when clinically necessary or materially useful — not automatically in every case. If records are needed, secure instructions will be provided. Do not send medical records through the public request form.
Secure Video Consultation
The consultation is conducted via secure video. You will need a private, quiet space with a reliable internet connection for the duration of the appointment.
Written Psychiatric Opinion
Following the consultation, you will receive a written psychiatric opinion documenting the assessment and recommendations relevant to the defined question.
Report Timing
The target for the written report is within 5 business days after the consultation and receipt of all required information and records.
Clarification Interaction
One limited clarification interaction is included and must be requested within 14 calendar days after the written opinion is delivered. It is limited to clarifying the existing opinion and does not include review of new records or new clinical developments, a new evaluation, prescribing, ongoing management, or revision of the opinion based on new information.
Fee, Payment & Cancellation
The consultation fee is ₪2,750. Once the consultation has been accepted, payment is due before the evaluation. Cancellation with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a practice charge equal to 50% of the consultation fee, subject to applicable Israeli law. If the evaluation is partial or cannot be completed, any financial adjustment or refund is handled individually on a case-by-case basis.
Treating-Clinician Handoff
For medication-focused recommendations, the consultation ordinarily requires an identifiable treating or prescribing clinician who can independently receive and evaluate the recommendations. The consultation does not replace the treating clinician’s independent clinical judgment.
Not Emergency Care
This service is not for emergencies or crisis situations. If you are experiencing an emergency or immediate safety concern, call emergency services (Israel: 101) or seek immediate emergency care. Do not wait for a consultation response.
No Ongoing-Management Promise
This consultation does not establish an ongoing treatment relationship. It is a single, focused consultation with a written opinion. Ongoing psychiatric management is not part of this service.
No Prescribing or Refills
This initial model does not include prescribing medication or providing refills. Medication-focused opinions are provided as recommendations to your treating clinician, not as direct prescriptions.
Privacy & Information Boundary
The public request form collects only minimal administrative routing information. Do not include medical records, diagnoses, medication lists, trauma details, symptoms, or safety concerns in the public form. If the request appears appropriate, secure instructions will be provided for any clinical information needed.
